Curatorial Ethos
Nūn Art Gallery showcases authentic visual art by Egyptian artists and by non-Egyptians living in Egypt, continuously promoting established artists while searching for new talent through exhibitions and art events.
Nūn Art Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Ramla on the West Bank of Luxor, close to the Nile. Founded and jointly managed by the artist Sayed Qinawi and Claudia Ali, it reopened in February 2020 the art space beside Wannas Art Café and organises regular exhibitions and art events, including murals.
Why this gallery matters
Exhibo editorial
Ramla, on the West Bank, a turn off the Nile road beside the Mesala Hotel — the old art space next to Wannas Art Café, revived in February 2020 by the artist Sayed Qinawi and Claudia Ali. Nūn is small and local by design: Egyptian artists alongside foreigners who have settled in Luxor, established names next to new ones, murals among its projects. It opens in the late afternoon, when the light on the river turns. A gallery to end a day of tombs with.
