IMT provides a free public programme of critical and innovative contemporary art exhibitions, commissioning artists and inviting independent curators to create unique audience experiences. Its mission is to support artists through a programme determined by urgent contemporary concerns rather than corporate or governmental agendas, actively providing platforms for underrepresented practices.
IMT Gallery is a contemporary art space in London that has operated since 2005, founded by Lindsay Friend and Mark Rohtmaa-Jackson. It functions as a hybrid entity, combining non-profit exhibition programming with the representation of emerging to established artists. The gallery maintains a physical location at Unit 2 / 210 Cambridge Heath Road while also hosting online exhibitions and auctions.
