Beardsmore Gallery — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery focuses on modern and contemporary fine art, with a notable programme emphasis on African art through its representation of prominent figures like Atta Kwami. It operates primarily through private appointments and international fair participation rather than a permanent public exhibition space.

Beardsmore Gallery is a commercial gallery established in London in 1992. Although temporarily without a physical gallery space, the venue continues to stock work, arrange viewings by appointment, and participate in major art fairs such as the London Art Fair and 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair. The gallery represents a roster of artists including Atta Kwami, Rebecca Salter RA, Birkin Haward, and Oliver Barratt.
