Mixer aimed to be a leading platform for young Turkish artists to find broad support while helping collectors discover new art through risk-taking programs and training workshops. Its curatorial ethos centered on fueling creativity, dialogue, and critical thinking within the fast-developing Istanbul art community.
Mixer was a contemporary art space in Istanbul’s Karaköy district dedicated to developing the new generation of Turkish artists by focusing exclusively on emerging local talent. It operated as a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA), offering an ambitious exhibition calendar that included media installations and public art projects. The venue also ran Mixer Editions for affordable original works and educational initiatives like ArtWriting Turkey and ArtLab. Mixer has permanently closed its gallery space.
