Curatorial Ethos

The gallery aims to foster dynamic trans-cultural relationships between Asian and international art scenes by supporting creative and critical art projects. It focuses on promoting contemporary art through curated exhibitions that encourage dialogue among artists, curators, collectors, and institutions while nurturing new methodologies in contemporary art history.

Tang Contemporary Art is a commercial gallery founded in Bangkok in 1997, operating spaces in Beijing, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, and Singapore. The Wong Chuk Hang location serves as one of its multiple venues in Hong Kong, alongside the Central Space, hosting exhibitions for both established and emerging artists. The gallery actively participates in major international art fairs such as Art Basel Hong Kong, Frieze New York, and KIAF.
