Curatorial Ethos
The gallery's mission is pioneering East-West artistic exchange, specifically introducing Western art to Hong Kong and mainland China while supporting exceptional modern and contemporary Chinese artists seeking new visions of modernity. It focuses on bridging cultures through rigorous curatorial strategies, academic programming, and high-quality art literature production.
Established in 1991 in Hong Kong, Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery is a cultural institution with a distinguished history of advancing artistic exchange between the East and West. Operating as a gallery, consultancy, publishing house, and cultural foundation, it has organized over 160 exhibitions and supported more than one hundred artists, including Zao Wou-Ki, Lalan, and Ai Xuan. The venue maintains a presence in Central, Hong Kong, and collaborates with international institutions to present modern and contemporary art.
