Curatorial Ethos
Hestia Gallery is a decorative arts and design gallery in Al Quoz, Dubai, founded by French gallerists Robin Corcos and Guillaume Andreani. With over fifteen years of combined experience in European art and design — including the legacy of Galerie Corcos in Paris — the founders bring a distinctly European sensibility to a space that sits between gallery and design studio. The programme focuses on limited-edition and bespoke objects: sculptural furniture, lighting, decorative pieces made by internationally acclaimed artists and designers in close collaboration with the gallery. Each piece is produced with what Hestia describes as "attention to detail and authenticity of artisanal craftsmanship" — the kind of language that means something here, because the work backs it up. The gallery participated in Dubai Editions at Dubai Design Week 2024 and maintains an agate-focused collection alongside its rotating exhibition programme.
Why this gallery matters
Exhibo editorial
Robin Corcos comes from a family of gallerists — Galerie Corcos has been a fixture of the Paris art world for decades. Guillaume Andreani brings fifteen years in European art and design. Together they arrived in Dubai and did something neither a gallery nor a design studio does on its own: they built a space where a limited-edition agate console and a sculptural lighting piece can coexist without either apologising for the other. Hestia is named for the Greek goddess of the hearth — the one deity who didn't travel, who stayed home while the others had their adventures, who made the space itself sacred. The name is a statement of intent: this is a gallery about objects that belong somewhere, that are made to be lived with, that carry time and craft and intention in their materials. In a city that moves fast and builds quickly, that is a particular kind of position to take.
