Curatorial Ethos
AA Gallery functions as a bridge for contemporary African and Global South artistic practices, fostering cross-continental dialogue through curated exhibitions, fair participation, and institutional partnerships. Its programme emphasizes both emerging talent and historical movements, aiming to expand global visibility for African artistic narratives.
African Arty Gallery (AA Gallery) operates as a commercial gallery and artist residency in Casablanca, Morocco, having been established by Jacques-Antoine Gannat in 2019. The venue dedicates its programme to contemporary African art and artists from the Global South across a 500 m² space. It provides tailored professional support to represented artists while organizing solo and group exhibitions alongside participation in major international art fairs. The gallery maintains partnerships with institutions and curators globally to facilitate cultural exchange and artist discovery.
