The gallery’s mission is to promote young emerging talent alongside established artists both regionally and internationally, driven by a belief in the interconnectedness of how Egyptian history and society influences identity. Ubuntu Art Gallery is a contemporary art gallery based in Zamalek, Cairo, Egypt, which opened in October 2014. It specializes in contemporary Egyptian artworks and the secondary market for modern Egyptian art, operating out of a two-story headquarters while also exhibiting at satellite locations such as the Swan Lake Clubhouse. The gallery maintains a regular program of monthly exhibitions and hosts educational initiatives like the 'Ubuntu Dialogues' lecture series.
