Curatorial Ethos
The gallery is dedicated to the acquisition of twentieth-century modern Egyptian art and the field of Egyptian art history, while also channeling income towards an educational program featuring monthly seminars and talks. Its programme focuses on rediscovering forgotten Egyptian masters and showcasing contemporary Egyptian talent through exhibitions and scholarly engagement.
Art Talks | Egypt is a Cairo-based interdisciplinary art space located in Zamalek, founded in 2009 by Fatenn Mostafa-Kanafani. The gallery manages Egyptian artists’ estates and represents a roster of emerging and mid-career artists alongside twentieth-century modern masters. It operates with daily opening hours from 11am to 8pm (3pm to 8pm on Fridays) at 8 El Kamel Mohamed St., Zamalek, Cairo.
