Curatorial Ethos
Opened in February 2017 by Layla El-Farouk in a Maadi villa shared with her art school Place des Arts, El Qahwa Khan café and the office of Islamic architect Dr. Omar El Farouk, whose arcades gave the gallery its name. Shows painting, sculpture, photography and installation by emerging and established artists, each for about a month.
