Meyer Riegger — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery's programme is distinguished by a strong emphasis on conceptual and abstract concerns, alongside existential questions regarding life, death, performance, and the human body. It fosters dialogue between global and local art practices through experimental exhibitions that blend historical significance with emerging careers.

Meyer Riegger is a commercial gallery established in Karlsruhe in 1997, with additional locations in Berlin, Basel, and Seoul (operating as Meyer Riegger Wolff). The gallery maintains a curatorially driven programme featuring solo exhibitions, group shows, and special projects by a roster of international artists. It has expanded its presence globally while maintaining roots in Germany and Switzerland, recently extending into the Korean market through a partnership.
