Galerie Kremers — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery works closely with artists and art writers to explore art historical and cultural/philosophical contexts for each exhibition, often accompanied by full-colour catalogs with critical essays. An important mandate is creating connections with local and international cultural communities through solo shows, guest curators, and events such as readings, music, and performances in their Gothic Hall.

Galerie Kremers is a contemporary commercial gallery founded by Marie Christine Kremers and located in the former Schultheiss-Brewery in Berlin's Kreuzberg neighbourhood. Since 2015, it has curated exhibitions highlighting creative relationships between artworks and artists, featuring both emerging and established German and international talent. The gallery operates with a hybrid schedule, hosting regular public hours on Wednesdays through Saturdays while also accommodating appointments by arrangement.
