Curatorial Ethos
The gallery operates on the ethos that art is intellectual and spiritual nourishment rather than decoration, viewing collectors as colleagues and partners. Its programme focuses on showcasing Post-Soviet and Arab modern masters, with a specific emphasis on avant-garde movements and multicultural Franco-Armenian artistic exchanges.
Noah's Ark Art Gallery is a commercial gallery located in Zalka, Lebanon, founded in 1996 by art critic and collector Mosses Zirani Herkelian. It specializes in Post-Soviet painting, particularly the Absurd Surrealist school, while also representing contemporary artists from across the globe and maintaining a collection of 19th-century works. The gallery has an extensive history of international participation, exhibiting at major fairs such as Art Basel Miami, Art Stage Singapore, and Europ'Art Geneva since its inception.
