Galerie Janine Rubeiz — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery’s programme focuses on promoting both internationally influential established artists and young emerging talents, with a specific emphasis on Lebanese cultural heritage and recent artistic responses to social movements. It maintains a dual mission of exposing the Lebanese public to international artists while facilitating global visibility for local creators.

Galerie Janine Rubeiz is a commercial art gallery located in the Majdalani Building on Charles de Gaulle Avenue in Raoucheh, Beirut. Founded in 1992 by Nadine Majdalani Begdache, it evolved from Dar El Fan, a cultural center established by her mother Janine Rubeiz in 1967. The gallery plays a crucial role in encouraging Lebanese modern and contemporary art while supporting its diffusion on the international level through exhibitions and participation in prestigious art fairs.
