Curatorial Ethos
The foundation promotes deep cultural, historical, and intellectual awareness by challenging stereotypes through arts and culture that engage with the social realities and political currents shaping the Middle East. Its programme focuses on preserving regional heritage, broadening artistic experiences, and fostering outreach through multidisciplinary collaborations and dialogue.
Dar El-Nimer for Arts and Culture is an independent non-profit art foundation located in the historic Villa Salem building in Clemenceau, Beirut. Founded in 2016 by collector Rami El-Nimer, it serves as a public space for historical, modern, and contemporary cultural productions from Palestine and the broader region. The venue hosts exhibitions of the private El-Nimer Collection alongside commissioned and hosted shows, lectures, film screenings, and workshops.
