The Foundation's mission encompasses collecting, exhibiting, and preserving international art with a focus on the Middle East, emphasizing living artists and modern contributions. It operates under a vision of innovation and inclusivity, aiming to revitalize Beirut's cultural scene through multidisciplinary programming that includes art, design, architecture, and performance.
Founded by Tony Salamé in Beirut in 2015, the Aïshti Foundation is a cultural institution dedicated to contemporary culture, bridging art, design, architecture, and performance. Situated within a large complex in Antelias, it houses over 2,000 works by more than 300 artists, with a specific emphasis on living artists and modern contributions from the Middle East. The Foundation actively engages in collecting, exhibiting, and preserving international art while fostering public education and global cultural exchange.
