Ashkal Alwan announces an open call for applicants currently based in Lebanon to take part in the 2027 edition of the Home Workspace Program (HWP), taking place in Beirut from 11 January to 23 July 2027. Launched in 2011, HWP is a tuition-free annual arts study programme that invites fellows to develop their formal, technical and theoretical skills in a critical setting, with feedback, resources, a monthly stipend and a shared studio space. Up to eight fellows will be selected; all artists based in Lebanon are eligible regardless of age and nationality, and the programme is run primarily in English. Deadline: 20 November 2026. To apply, send a one-page CV, a portfolio of past works (under 10 MB) and a letter of motivation (300–500 words) to hwp@ashkalalwan.org.
