About the work

Limited-edition silkscreen print by Ibrahim Al Thawadi, produced for Print Friends at the Fire Station, Doha (2026). Responding to Yousef Ahmad's painting Arab Nation Street — a 10-metre canvas evoking the intellectual, political and cultural atmosphere of the Arab world in the 1950s and 1960s — the work was made using only red, green and black, and is issued in three colourways (black, red and green), each in an edition of three.
