A six-part photographic tableau (1969/1995) drawn from stills of Sieverding's 1969 film Life–Death. Enlarged to 100 x 100 cm per panel, the images of made-up, androgynous faces and staged poses hold opposites – masculine and feminine, movement and stillness – in suspended tension.
