Biography
Chus Chilol is a Mexican artist and maker who, with ceramicist Naaz Zepeda, created the Wise Woman series in white clay and adobe sand, depicting potters, cooks, farmers and other workers, in collaboration with the artisans Simona and Alberta. The series is shown in Expanded Tradition: Contemporary Craft Practices in Mexico at M7, Doha (2026).
