Biography
Afrah Shafiq (b. 1989) is an Indian multimedia artist whose practice combines archival research, storytelling, digital games and interactive fiction. Her work revisits overlooked cultural histories — including Cold War-era exchanges between India and the Soviet Union — and has been developed through fellowships such as the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art’s field research programme in Moscow.
