Biography
Abdulla Fakhroo is a Qatari visual artist and calligrapher with over 25 years of experience. He is the founder of the jewellery brand Midad and of Bayt Al-Khattateen (House of Calligraphers). His practice explores the intersection of architecture, geometry and calligraphy, particularly Kufic styles, reinterpreting traditional forms through a contemporary visual language with close attention to structure, rhythm and composition.
