Art Sonje Center

The center advocates for the possibilities of contemporary art and creativity, aiming to share high-quality cultural arts with the global community and form a sustainable cultural ecosystem. Its programme focuses on curatorial discourse practice, new production through artists' experimental thinking, and building a global network for Korean contemporary art.

Art Sonje Center is a contemporary art museum in Seoul, South Korea, founded in 1998 by the Daewoo Foundation. Established to honor the founder's late son and promote cultural exchange, it presents exhibitions, performances, screenings, and publications across various disciplines including art, design, architecture, and film. The center operates from a building designed by architect Kim Jong-sung, featuring multiple exhibition spaces and an auditorium.
