Dar el Bacha – Confluences Museum

The museum’s programme centers on preserving and presenting intangible cultural heritage alongside the region’s architectural legacy. It utilizes the restored palace environment to explore historical narratives and artisanal traditions that have shaped Marrakech and its surrounding areas.

Dar El Bacha is a historic palace constructed in 1910 that formerly served as the residence of Thami El Glaoui, the Pasha of Marrakech. Following a 2017 renovation, the building operates as the Museum of Confluences, showcasing traditional Moroccan architecture through its preserved fountains, salons, and courtyard gardens. The venue functions as a museum dedicated to intangible cultural heritage and welcomes visitors Tuesday through Sunday.
