The Kuwait Museum of Modern Art is a state museum located on Gulf Road in Sharq Block 2, Kuwait City. Housed in a historic building originally constructed in 1939 to serve as the Madrasa Al Sharqiya (Eastern School), it was reopened as a museum in 2003. The institution hosts an exquisite collection of modern Arab and international art.
