Borusan Contemporary

The institution supports the production of new artworks and collaborates with international artists who incorporate photography, video, sound, light, and software-based technologies into their practices, with a specific focus on new media art in its broadest sense. It fosters dialogue between artistic production and its audience by bringing together projects from diverse disciplines and commissioning site-specific works.

Borusan Contemporary is a contemporary art, collection, and education initiative of the Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation, located in Perili Köşk in Rumelihisarı, Istanbul. Since 2011, it has operated as an art center transforming an office environment into a creative setting, hosting exhibitions, events, and educational programs. The venue features the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection, which includes over 800 works focusing on new media, digital art, and photography.
