Tomorrow Today
Near-future technology, almost in reach
Tomorrow Today is the floor of the Museum of the Future dedicated to technologies on the near horizon — artificial intelligence, robotics and the evolving relationship between people and machines — presented as working prototypes rather than distant speculation. Many exhibits are developed with research and industry partners who use the museum as a live laboratory. Its signature experience, the OSS Hope Simulator built with SAP, puts visitors in control of a space station's life-support systems, guided by an AI assistant to balance energy, waste and emissions toward zero across a series of escalating challenges. Unlike the floors set in 2071, Tomorrow Today focuses on innovations close enough to arrive within years, and its exhibits are regularly updated as real-world technology advances. The experience is included in general admission and offers the most hands-on, present-day section of the museum.
