Juthoor Art Center (Al Maktoum House)

Juthoor Art Center occupies the House of Sheikh Khalifa bin Saeed Al Maktoum in Al Shindagha, a restored family residence of teak doors, carved screens and a courtyard garden. The house stands in the historic Creek-side neighbourhood that Dubai Culture has opened as a cluster of heritage houses and pavilions. It is used as a cultural venue in a former home. Rooms and displays can change, so it is worth asking on arrival what is open that day.
