Residui: From Waste to Wonder
Staged as part of the IDEHA26 programme and presented in Ankara for the first time anywhere, "Residui: From Waste to Wonder" opens at CerModern on 16 October 2026 at 19:00 and remains on view until 8 November. The exhibition is organised by the Embassy of Italy in Türkiye with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Curated by Valentina Croci and HoperAperta (Patrizia Catalano and Martina Barberis Casagrande) and designed by Studio Gisto and Nolostand, the show takes up the themes of the circular economy and explores the creative potential of agri-food waste. The exhibition route, introduced by curator Valentina Croci, combines a materials library with nine limited-edition design artworks. Together they show how waste can shift from a marginal material to a valuable resource and a vehicle for artistic expression.
