Open Call: Performing Practices, Projects at the Lab 2026/2027

Darat al Funun invites artists and practitioners across disciplines to propose projects that approach performance as both an act and a concept, and that consider its politics and possibilities: how performance can shape perception, redistribute roles, reframe relationships or make space for something that did not previously exist. The Lab, which sits directly on the street, is approached as an unconventional space for performance, and proposals should consider how it might contribute to the development, production and identity of the work. Applications are accepted from Palestine and Jordan, in Arabic or in English. The deadline for applications is 30 November 2026.
