Biography
Sofles (born Russell Fenn, Brisbane, 1985) is a self-taught Australian artist who has spent more than two decades working across spray paint, acrylic, brush and digital illustration. His large-scale murals have taken him around the world many times over and appear in cities from Berlin and Copenhagen to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. He is known for kinetic, dimensional work that draws on nature, graffiti and traditional art, circling ideas of time and perception. His stated aim is simple: to make strong public images that transform a space and move the people who pass through it.
