Malin Juntikka

Biography

Malin Juntikka (b. 1999, Härnösand, Sweden) is a Swedish social-realist painter who has been living in Egypt since 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theoretical Philosophy from Lund University and is due to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. Her paintings explore real people, places and events, addressing social norms, ills and phenomena through a philosophical-artistic lens, often contrasting Egypt and her native Sweden.
