Biography
Hussein Shariffe (1934–2005) was a Sudanese painter, poet and filmmaker, a key figure of modern Sudanese art, whose films such as Tigers Are Better-Looking reflect on exile and memory. Their work is included in Red Wind, Coral Worlds at Hayy Arts, Hayy Jameel, Jeddah (2026).
