Biography
Ghada Al Suwaidi is a Qatari multidisciplinary artist and a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar), where she studied graphic design. Her practice moves between large-scale murals, illustration and digital work, drawing on everyday life in Qatar — nostalgia, neighbourhoods and shared visual memory — reinterpreted through bold colour and contemporary form, often with humour and local reference. She has also explored photography, fashion, and traditional and Islamic art. In 2026 she designed a race helmet for Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly as part of Qatar's Years of Culture initiative, and her work has featured in exhibitions including Ektashif Al-Andalus at the Museum of Islamic Art.
