Biography
Donald Greig is a bronze sculptor known for finely detailed, research-led animal and wildlife figures. His work is closely associated with the Donald Greig Gallery and Bronze Foundry at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa, where his sculptures — from African wildlife and birds to large-scale commissions — are cast and exhibited. Among his best-known public works in the Gulf is Camel Family, the life-size bronze group of three camels at the Gold Souk entrance of The Dubai Mall, which he modelled and cast using the traditional lost-wax method over roughly eight months.
