Biography
Anna-Eva Bergman (1909–1987) was a Norwegian-French painter and printmaker, one of the best-known women artists in 20th-century Norwegian art. Her work developed from early humorous illustrations and socially critical drawings to large abstract landscapes, often using metal leaf, which brought her international breakthrough from the late 1950s.
